The claims deadline for the $113 Million Lithium-Ion Batteries Antitrust Litigation has now passed.

Important Update

The Court has approved the Phase II Distribution. For more information please see the Court's Order.

The Phase 1 Distribution commenced in June of 2023 and has concluded. Please see the Declaration of Chris Whipps Re: First Round Distribution and Proposed Plan for Second Round Distribution. On October 30, 2023 the Court issued an Order Continuing Deadlines.

On May 2, 2023, the Court approved the following plan and schedule for distribution of the settlement funds to class members: Order Approving Indirect Purchaser Plaintiffs' Plan and Schedule of Distribution. At this time it is expected that payments to Class Members will begin in the coming weeks.

On April 7, 2023, Counsel submitted a proposed distribution plan to the Court . This plan lays out the schedule and the options for class members to receive payment. While claims are no longer being accepted, class members should begin receiving their payments in the coming weeks.

On November 16, 2022, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the one objection related to the $113 million in settlements obtained in in the Lithium-Ion Batteries Antitrust Litigation. The objector has until February 14, 2023 to file a petition asking the Supreme Court to review this decision. In the meantime, Class Counsel is putting together a distribution plan for the Court, and if no petition by the objector is filed, we hope to begin distribution of the settlement funds as early as March 2023.
